Heavy lifting and anal fissure
Hi all, I had an anal fissure in January due to travel related constipation. It bled for 18 days and then it stopped. It again bled for a 2 separate days in February when I passed hard stools and for 5 days in March when I had another episode of constipation. Since March I'm on a plant based diet and I hadn't had any symptoms. On Friday, I lifted something heavy (25kg) and moved around. Since Saturday it pains in the same region as the previous anal fissure. Can heavy lifting cause anal fissure to reoccur? I had gotten a colonoscopy done in 2011 which was normal and a sigmoidoscopy done in 2014 which indicated anterior and posterior fissure along with grade 2 hemorrhoids. Do I need any further testing? What can I do to make sure it doesn't reoccur apart from following plant based diet

No excercise can not cause fissure or bleeding. The only way to prevent fissure is by preventing constipation. Try to improve your diet. Discuss in details for dietery planning and further treatment planning.
