Heavy bleeding and traveling
Hello doctor, Greetings for the day. I have PCOS and I got my periods after 1 and half month. Usually my periods r heavy during first 3 days. And I'm travelling tonight with my 6 yrs son. Can u please suggest me some medicine to control my bleeding for at least 12 hrs. As mine is a break journey with a kid so don't want to take risk. Will there be any side effects if I take medicine. Please do suggest. Thank you, Sukanya.

Yes, we do have medications to reduce the amount of menstrual bleeding but before prescribing them you need to see a gynaecologist for through history taking and relevant examination to get appropriate medication.
