I'm worried about my friend he will fall asleep and his heart rate will slow until it stops but then it'll start up again and now he's afraid to go to sleep he's 22 and in perfect heathland condition

Need to get holter done and polysomnography(complete sleep study). Need to consult a cardiologist and 2D Echo and ECG also needed. Need to see whether it's heart beat problem or breathing centre problem
