You are 40 yrs, get your fasting lipid profile, Diabetic profile and blood pressure checked. Show to a physician first whether other test are also required. Need to consider further whether, Echo or TMT required or not

Avoid all junk food, exercise daily for 30 min, avoid airated drinks and preserved food and deep fried food items. weight reduction if overweight. don't know if smoking is there, need to quit that
