The degeneration is due to hidden inflammation and getting to the root of it is required.  The body can heal itself in ways that we are yet not aware of,  but if you are looking for a quick fix, maybe it wouldn't help. But yes, if you decide to work on correcting you diet and lifestyle you will definitely see improvement in your health.  To begin with follow HAIP DIET strictly for 1 month  and seek proper consultation for recommendations on Ayurvedic formulations

Your water intake may be low or irregular. Whichever ayurveda treatment you could start you should definitely correct  the diet and exercise regimen. medicine without proper diet cannot find any solution. You haven't mentioned type of job you are doing etc. The information is too short to describe anything

Hello, Lattice degeneration and vitreous degeneration are structural changes in the retina and gel of the eye. Ayurvedic medicines cannot reverse these changes, but they can help in improving eye circulation, reducing dryness/strain, and slowing further degeneration to some extent. The most important part is regular retina check-up with an ophthalmologist. If there is any risk of retinal tear or detachment, the doctor may advise laser treatment — and that is the only proven method for prevention. Along with that, Ayurvedic support (Netra tarpana, anti-oxidant herbs, diet changes) can be taken safely, but not as the only treatment. If you share your scan report (OCT / retina findings), I can guide you precisely on what you should do next.

You should go for Netra tarpanam with triphala ghrita from nearest panchkarma centre. Theyll also do provide u with aschyotana and Netra seka along with it. You can take guduchi churna-1-0-1 with honey for 7 days.
Next Steps

Lattice and vitreous degeneration need regular eye check-ups. Ayurveda can help improve eye strength and slow further degeneration with medicines and netra-tarpana therapies, but it cannot reverse existing structural changes. I suggest you consult me for a personalized plan.

I will give you a **clear, honest, and practical answer** so you don’t waste time or damage your eyes. --- # ✅ **Can Ayurvedic Medicine *reverse* Lattice Degeneration or Vitreous Degeneration?** **Yes and No — Ayurvedic medicines cannot reverse or “repair” lattice degeneration or vitreous degeneration but it can stop futher loss, and if miracle happens it can reverse also, with help of panchakarma.** These conditions are **structural changes in the retina and vitreous gel**. No oral medicine, Ayurvedic or allopathic, can restore this structure once it has changed. BUT… # ✅ **Ayurveda CAN help in these ways:** ### ✔️ *Slow further degeneration* ### ✔️ *Improve micro-circulation in retina* ### ✔️ *Reduce dryness & oxidative stress* ### ✔️ *Reduce risk of progression* ### ✔️ *Support overall eye health* This is similar to how Ayurveda helps in early macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy—not cure, but **protect**. --- # 🚨 **Most Important**: Lattice degeneration increases the risk of **retinal tear or retinal detachment**. You MUST follow modern ophthalmology precautions seriously. --- # 👉 Ayurvedic Treatment Plan (Safe + Evidence-supported) ## **1. Internal Medicines (3–4 months)** (Only supportive, not curative.) ### ⭐ ******Lauh** – 1 tablet twice daily after food – Improves retinal circulation – Reduces strain ### ⭐ ********* – 1 tablet twice daily – Stops micro-oedema and improves blood flow ### ⭐ ******Ghrita** – 1 teaspoon at night with warm water – Very beneficial for dry eyes and retinal nourishment ### ⭐ ******Rasayana** – 1 teaspoon every morning – Strong antioxidant → slows degeneration --- ## **2. Eye Drops (Ayurvedic)** These DO NOT go into the deep retina but improve nourishment & dryness: ### ⭐ *****or ***Eye Drops** – 1–2 times/day – Helps dryness, improves circulation – Supportive only --- ## **3. External Therapies (Very Helpful)** For 21 days (if possible at our hospital): ### ✔️ *Netra Tarpan* (Ghee-based eye soaking therapy) – Best Ayurvedic therapy for retinal nutrition – Helps vitreous floaters dryness – Done under supervision only ### ✔️ *Shirodhara* (if you have anxiety + eye strain) --- # 🔥 **Important Lifestyle Precautions (Very Important)** ### 🚫 Avoid: * Heavy weight lifting * High-impact exercise (jumping, running, boxing) * Vigorous head shaking * Long hours of screen without break * Rubbing the eyes * Constipation (strains can increase pressure) ### ✔️ Follow: * Blink often while screen work * 20-20-20 rule every 20 min * Hydration * Stop smoking (if applicable) --- # ⚠️ **When to See Retina Specialist Immediately** If you get: * Sudden increase in floaters * Flashing lights * Curtain-like shadow * Sudden blurry vision These are symptoms of **retinal tear/detachment**, which must be treated within hours. --- # 👍 Final Answer **Ayurveda cannot cure or reverse lattice or vitreous degeneration**, but it **can slow progression** and **protect the retina** when used along with modern eye care. If you want, tell me your **exact OCT report or scan details**, and I will customise a safe Ayurvedic plan for you. Advice- self medication is hazardous, always consult ayurvedic doctor before taking ayurvedic medicine. Consult me personally for details.
