Health Anxiety
Whenever I get a feeling like headache, stomach pain, etc. I starts thinking like it is a brain tumour, or such deadly diseases. So this anxiety starts at anytime and I gets no time to do anything. I try to walk, do something tht will divert mind but anxiety doesn't allow it. It doesn't come daily but before it used to come daily. And, I don't know now how to this deal with for real.

Hello,Do you watch serials or movies which show symptoms of these diseases? Remember..the more you think or see the same thing your brain will start believing.Stay away from these negative thoughts and impacts. When you say now the frequency of your anxiety has reduced..ofcourse I would like to know how??

Hi, it seems like you feel extremely anxious about your health. You get stressed when you get stomach pain or headache and you wonder if it is something serious when it may not be serious. You can gradually work on not having too many worrying thoughts. You can seek counseling to help you feel calm and not have too many anxious thoughts about health.

1. Sit in a comfortable chair with ur feet touching the floor and if possible ur palms pressing lightly on a table or any flat surface. 2. It’s imp to keep taking deep breaths as much as u can... not forcing urself but bringing your awareness on inhaling and exhaling. 4. It’s good to tell urself then... for eg- *i am sitting on this chair and can feel my back well rested* *i can see that the colour of my room wall is white/xyz* *i can see and feel the calmness in the air around me* *i am feeling the calmness around me now entering my body and soul at the cellular level* *this grounding experience is helping me and I’m now relaxed and calm* U can try this with the above lines and it is absolutely ok if u wish to change things here and there .. as per your comfort. There is no strict rule .. whatever works for u is what u have to do more.

Probably, You would have had to meet someone's health got affected badly due to those reasons which you had mentioned.. Or, post that diagnosis, you could have browsed a lot through Internet and those unwanted unnecessary informations are bothering you.. Take sometime and relax.. Be with your family members.. Spend some quality time with your friends.. Ward yourself from the Google search engine.. Hope by all the above small initiatives, you can slowly come out of this Anxiety..
