Headache associated with underlying stress is usually of mild to moderate intensity and not increased by any physical activity. Hi, women have migraine issues during, before or after their periods due to harmonal changes. This migraine sometimes can last for a  whole day. Since you're saying that not all the time she has this problem, make sure if it's a menstrual migraine. Some other emotional triggers for migraine are stress, anxiety & fears.
Next Steps
As your wife has no vomiting & nausea, it will not be so serious.don't worry.she can do her check up with a gynaecologist..
Health Tips
if it's not menstrual migraine, it may be due to emotional reasons like stress.. helping her to alleviate the stress will be helpful in long term. any of the relaxation techniques will be very effective.

Migraine is a cause of Stress and anxiety... If it only occasional, she need to understand the reason behind or the situation under which she is repeatedly getting it.. It is better to consult a psychologist in your city personally.

Hi Sir Thanks for seeking help here. I would like to suggest you sir that headache usually a manifestation of underlying pathology. So we would like to evaluate the character of headache. Like tension headache happens after stressors and it's a band like sensation and all over the head. Migraine usually unilateral with throbbing and last for days , increases with light and sound and decreased with sleep. Gastritis and sleep disturbances aggravates it. It's due to vasodilation. Similarly we need a detail evaluation of all underlying pathology. If needed will go for few tests and will manage for a define shot. I would recommend please have evaluation with neurology or with us in Practo. We will help you out. Regards Jitendriya
