Headache during intercourse
From past couple of times, during the intercourse I am getting sudden headache and I didn't had this kind of pain earlier. Also the pain longs for 1 day approximately. Should I need to worry for it? Can someone throw reasons or cure for this?

This kind of headache can happen due to stress, high blood pressure during excitement, migraine, dehydration, lack of sleep, or muscle tension in the neck and head. Sometimes it is harmless, but sudden severe headache during intercourse should not be ignored, especially if it is new for you. Since your headache is happening repeatedly and lasts almost a full day, it is better to get checked by a doctor once to rule out serious causes like blood vessel problems or high blood pressure. Seek urgent medical help if: The headache is the worst headache of your life You get vomiting, dizziness, weakness, blurred vision, or fainting The pain starts suddenly like a “thunderclap” For now: Stay well hydrated Avoid excessive strain Sleep properly Monitor your blood pressure You may take a simple painkiller like paracetamol. But because this is a new symptom, a medical evaluation is recommended rather than ignoring it.

A sudden headache occurring during intercourse or around orgasm can sometimes happen due to what is called Primary headache associated with sexual activity. In many people, this may occur because of sudden increase in blood pressure, muscle tension in the neck/head, exertion, stress, anxiety, dehydration, poor sleep, or excessive physical strain during intercourse. Some headaches are mild and temporary, while others may feel sudden and intense and can last for hours afterward. However, since you mentioned that this is a new symptom and the pain lasts nearly a full day, it should not be ignored completely. Although many cases are harmless, sudden severe headaches during sex can occasionally be associated with important vascular or neurological conditions, especially if the headache is explosive, extremely intense, associated with vomiting, dizziness, weakness, vision changes, fainting, confusion, or the “worst headache” feeling of your life.
Next Steps
Since this is a newly developed recurring symptom, it would be advisable to consult for proper clinical evaluation rather than ignoring it or self-medicating repeatedly. Early assessment is important whenever new exertion-related headaches begin in adulthood. Health Tips
Stay well hydrated before physical activity or intercourse. Avoid excessive exertion and breath-holding during sex. Maintain regular sleep and stress control. Practice neck and shoulder relaxation exercises. Avoid excessive alcohol and smoking. Most sex-related headaches are benign, but new recurrent headaches should be evaluated properly to rule out important causes and provide reassurance. Thank you

This can happen due to something called a sexual headache / coital headache. In many people it is benign and occurs because of sudden rise in blood pressure, neck-muscle tightening, exertion, anxiety, or migraine tendency during intercourse. Common features: Sudden headache during excitement or near orgasm Throbbing pain at back of head or whole head May last minutes to several hours Usually it improves on its own If headaches continue for more than a few episodes, consultation is needed.
