Typically occouring problem in people involved in long hour desk jobs and chronic bad posture. Please read my blog on shoulder pain and low back ache. U most likely have a fibromyalgia of the trapezius muscle and need treatment after exact diagnosis from your orthopaedic doctor and physiotherapist. You will just be fine. All the best. We shall be happy to help you in a personal consultation if you dont get well.

Drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration because dehydrated disc is more prone to injury. Dehydration can also cause headache on the back side. Go for physio. Once pain settled -then do neck muscle strengthening exercises.
