Headache after 24 hrs of ARV Booster.
I have currently taken Intradermal Anti Rabies Vaccine booster shots(0 & 3rd day) due to suspected rodent bite on my leg. Took the first booster shot after 48hrs due to confusing nature of bite but maintained the schedule of 2 shots. The 2nd dose was around 24 hrs earlier but today only I am starting to have moderate headache & migraine like pain. Also not feeling like eating much. My ARV vaccination history - June 2022(4 doses) Jan 2023 (2 doses) June 2024(2 doses) JULY 2025(2 doses) CURRENT Is it normal to develop headaches after 24 hrs of  ARV ? Should I be alarmed about anything? Thank you in advance for valuable advice.

Headache does not seem to be related to vaccine. Please share details of your problem,  then I can help you.

Since you’ve had adequate Pre-exposure prophylaxis and you mention the confusing nature of bite, I feel that your headache is nothing to worry about and could be happening as a consequence of the vaccination. Since you also mention that it is migraine type, I would recommend giving yourself a day of rest, without any bright light, loud noises and ample sleep with good hydration. Take a Paracetamol 650mg if unbearable. If the headache persists ever after rest of 1 day and Paracetamol, please consult a physician.
Next Steps
Adequate Rest and Paracetamol 650mg
Health Tips
If it persists even after 24 hours, please consult a physician.
