Head banging for 7 month old
My daughter is 7 month old .Often lately we have observed that the moment she wanted to sleep she starts banging her head on bed .( She sucks thumb also ) . This behaviour is observed only when she is bored or tried to sleep mainly ( in lay down position only ).When she is active and playful she doesn't do this thing . Otherwise she is active child. Is this normal ?

When the child starts to feel sleepy, they get agitated. So they first start to soothe themselves by thumb sucking, feeding etc If then the cues for sleeping aren't picked up then child starts to cry or starts frequent body movements (in severe stage banging the head too). So try to make the child sleep immediately after 1 or 2 hours when the baby starts giving cues. This is as such normal. But if you think it is severe then can consult a doctor and can take a video for the same.
