I have been taking Glycomet 500 but my diabetes is still very high. The report has been attached in my reports tab. I need a change in medication to control my diabetes more effectively.
An HbA1c of 10.1 while already on Glycomet means your blood sugar isn't well controlled on the current dose alone, and it's quite reasonable that your treatment plan needs to change at this stage.
Next Steps
Please see your physician or a diabetologist soon with this latest report so they can decide whether to adjust your metformin dose, add another medicine, or consider other options based on your full history and other blood tests.
Health Tips
Don't change your own dose or add a new medicine on your own. Get in touch sooner if you notice excessive thirst, frequent urination or unexplained weight loss.
