Hba1c 6.4 prediabetes
Few days I went to hair clinic and they tested my blood My hba1c was 6.4 Random blood glucose is 85 Next day I took a blood glucose test Fasting sugar was 79 mg/dl Post prandial was 108 mg/dl Ive exercising for past 2 months ( weight lifting) If I didn't exercise my hba1c could have been way higher . ( Am I right or not ?) Am I prediabetic or not ? Why my hba1c falls under prediabetic category and sugar levels fall under normal category ?

Hba1c suggest that u are prediabetic . But fasting and pp isnt matching . Do HBA1C after 2 months . Till then keep exercising.

Hi, Hba1c is in the prediabetic range. It means you are pre diabetic. Along with exercise, it's important for you to go on a calorie restricted diet also. Consult if required You don't need any medications at this point Lets hope it stays that way

Get Sugar tolerance test done & repeat HbAlc If it is still high get check up for Anaemia,thalassemia, kidney function test & liver function tests. Consult a physician Maintain healthy eating & healthy lifestyle with exercises.
