HB is 18 should i consult to doctor?
Hello,
HB is 18 point, is it normal or should i consult with doctors. I have a problem in breath also getting some tiny cough in throuth.
How to reduce HB ? Please advise me.

Hb 18 is not normal. One possibility could be that during the time of sampling you were dehydrated in which case your hb will appear falsely high in report. Other thing we need to rule out polycythemia Vera. Patients who have long standing breathing problems too may have high hb.
