Having wheezing and coughing at night
I am 7 week pregnant and having on and off wheezing and coughing at night from.last 3-4 weeks .From last one week this is frequent and not able to sleep at night due to wheez and sometimes difficulty in breathing .Went to physician he gave reswas and cetrizine and drez gargle,Its been 3 days of medication but still problem persists and disturbing whole cycle of sleep

Hi noted above history and related concerns. As you mentioned I found to be acute bronchitis/pharyngeal infection

It might be Asthma related to pregnancy. Few mother's develope asthma during pregnancy,but they never had earlier. But other things to be ruled out. Consult chest physician and you may require Inhalers for short duration.

Seems like you are having asthma exacerbation ,need to have correct treatment for that either in form of inhalers or nubulisers. Please consult a pulmonologist for the same. Re start your inhaler if you were taking before.

Hi,  noted your concern. You may have bronchial asthma. Were the episodes of wheezing, cough and breathless present before pregnancy ?
