- have a fixed time to sleep and wake up
- avoid stimulants like tea/coffee before sleeping
- try yoga and relaxation techniques (taught by psychiatrist/psychologist)
- avoid heavy exercises before sleep
- avoid afternoon naps
- keep clocks , tv , mobile and other gadgets away while sleeping
-sleep in a cool and dark room
-avoid checking time while unable to sleep
