Proper clinical evaluation is required as it can be due to tempo-mandibular joint dysfunction or muscle dysfunction. Sometimes it can be because of wisdom tooth.

This joint pain might be due to some deep acvity or decay in your molar region or may be directly associated to Temporomandibular joint itself. OPG xray is required with clinical snap for initial diagnosis.
