Dear friend
Spondylolisthesis is a very painful thing as there is fracture and the vertebrae is moving over one another whenever she is bending or moving. It's like a fracture moving which causes pain. But here we are not treating the MRI we are treating a patient and her symptoms we need need to look how are her symptoms and also if the listhesis is stable or unstable type.
If its stable and not much symptoms in terms of claudication or neuro deficits then you might no surgery and can be very well treated with medication exercises and posture modification.
Next Steps
We can discuss the problem and its solution in detail over practo consult as it's too much to discuss over this small chat. Please book an appointment on the below link to get better advise.
Looks like slip of one block over another. Mask her to avoid weight lifting and bending over.
Use western toilet
Not to sit on ground
Wear belt
Daily walks
This report suggests that she is having spindylolosthesis alongwith degenerative changes.. it means that vertebrae are not in straight line.. one vertebrae is going ahead than the lower one.. that may cause severe compression of spinal cord.. What complaints is she having at present.. There is a possibility that she may require surgery..
Next Steps
I think it would be better to get MRI of Lumbosacral spine. She can start with Use of lumbosacral belt for support, hot fomentation, take analgesic, calcium and vitamin d supplements..
Health Tips
Avoid heavy work, avoid sitting down, avoid Indian toilet, avoid forward bending..
