I am 34 weeks pregnant and recently in my urine test there came protein positive and 4-6 pus cell and I fear that result came due to contamination because I don't have any symptoms of uti and the specimen collector also told me to keep that sample uncapped and by looking the report itself doctor recommended me Nitrobact 100 for 7 days and I took 7 days of antibiotics without doing repeat urine test. So now I am feeling guilty and having anxiety because of thinking about unnecessary antibiotics causing bacteria resistant and harming my baby in anyway.

Hi, short duration of antibiotics doesn't harm. Also you have to think about the benefits the medicine causes by preventing infection and further complications. If you still feel anxious consult online for therapy

Protein and pus cells on a urine test are common reasons doctors start antibiotics in pregnancy, even before a culture confirms infection. Completing a course your doctor prescribed isn't something to feel guilty about.
Next Steps
Ask your doctor for a repeat urine test now that the course is finished, to confirm the infection has cleared.
Health Tips
One antibiotic course as advised doesn't put your baby at risk. Ongoing anxiety is worth mentioning at your next visit.
