If your tooth is broken but the roots are intact then the tooth can be saved by doing RCT followed by capping , but you might need to do post and core for building the crown part.

Is the tooth painful too? Do you feel any kind of sensitivity in that tooth such as cold or hot sensations? If yes then you might have to undergo a root canal treatment which is necessary to keep your tooth healthy and pain-free.further treatments will be decided when you visit a dentist.

Good evening sir.
Please post a picture of the same. The perception of a half tooth may not be the same for a patient and for the Doctor. We need to see how much is broken... how much part of the crown is left... or has it broken including a part of the root.
All this needs to be evaluated and plus the symptoms that you are presently having... is there any pain involved ? Is the left over part moving ? All this needs to be seen before we come to a conclusion and treatment plan. Nothing to worry. Please visit your dentist they ll do the best for you. An X ray may be required.
All this can be confirmed if you directly visit a dentist.
Next Steps
Visit your dentist as soon as possible
