Have bloating and abdominal pain
I have been dealing with persistent upper abdominal discomfort (center, below chest) described as a pulling/tightness feeling, worsened on an empty stomach or after heavy meals. I also have burping, mild bloating, and occasional chest heaviness, but no acid reflux, burning, or vomiting, i do feel constipated but stool is somewhat normal. Also feel stressed out and anxious googling symptoms. I have done a course of Ciplox for 6 days and Cefixime and Orni for 4 days. Done CBC, CRP, LFT, KFT and Ultrasound, all reports are normal. I have confirmed vitamin B12 and D deficiencies, currently taking Ganaton total, Colospa Retard, Bifilac, Evion, Nurokind OD, and recently added Zandu Aampachak. I feel better with probiotics, light food, and walking. Would like to confirm if this is gastritis, IBS, or post-antibiotic gut sensitivity or something else and if i need to change my meds.

Hi, your symptoms are suggestive of functional dyspepsia, likely worsened by post-antibiotic gut sensitivity and stress. • Continue probiotics like Bifilac • Add PPI (e.g., pantoprazole 40 mg before breakfast) for 2–4 weeks • Avoid antibiotics unless clearly needed • Follow a light, low-fat diet and regular meals • Stress/anxiety can amplify gut symptoms — relaxation techniques help • If symptoms persist beyond 4 weeks, consider an upper GI endoscopy
