Hashimotos thyroiditis+ hypothyroidism)
I have tpo antibodies 736 and TSH 5.16...i am 33 yrs old...I m taking 50 mg thyronorm...I am planning for my second pregnancy...I am afraid if these tpo antibodies will harm my baby causing autism or any mental retardation in the baby...pls help me with this doubt...I am getting hell scared of this high count of antibodies...what are the complications in the baby with high tpo antibodies??? Note: I developed hypothyroidism 2 yrs  after my first pregnancy...

What affects the baby is high TSH during pregnancy. U need to make sure that the TSH is between 1 to 2.5 before u plan to conceive
