No you cannot give derolac for hard poop
Please follow these steps
1. Make sure you feed her properly, hard stool might point towards less hydration
2. If 6 months is completed, please start on complementary feeds. You can also give sips of water. Make sure water is boiled and then cooled before giving
3. If you are giving iron syrup, please check the dosage
Iron can temporarily cause hard poop
4. Allow for plenty of tummy time
If with all these measures also hard stools is not relieving kindly consult to look for hormonal imbalances
Hi mam
Derolac is probiotic sachets, they wouldn't be helpful for the baby.
Have you started her on complementary feeds recently? Sometimes consistency of stools may vary during initiation of complementary feeds.
Next Steps
Watch for improvement in stool consistency
If she's persisting to have hard stools, kindly consult.
