After completing squats or deadlift ,my left hamstring gets stiff more than right one.
This left leg stiffness continue to 3-4 days
While right hamstring gets normal in 1-2 days

In starting phase of excercise your body is adjusting to your workout so that pain will occur. You continue icepack application and take intermittent break in between
