Heavy stiffness in Ring finger
Dear Sir, I had removed K wire from Ring and pinky finger a month ago. Both the fingers are very stiff and unable to mobilise. I have undergone a wax therapy and finger mobilisation for a month now. Only pinky finger is improved now. The stiffness in the ring finger is remains same. I am able to bend the fingers during wax bath and after which it goes stiffed. I would like to know is it normal and I long I need to get my fingers normal? Thanks

Hi, common problem after finger injury is stiffness. If you got injury in PIP joint stiffness is common, all other joint usually movement will come back with physio. Main treatment is hand physio. Opinion given by Dr Sivaraman B, Upper limb consultant, Thorraipakkam, OMR, Chennai.
