My daughter is 11 years old.. weight 73.. height 5'5..she is always given medicine that adults take because of her height and weight.. but after taking Dolo or any high dose medicines.. after sometime she gets up from her bed and starts talking something that is not happening or is not present.. like today she got up and told us that the tiles of our house is coming up.. and this is not the first time.. pls advise if she can take the kids medicine and not adult medications.

Although your daughter’s height and weight qualify for adult dosing but her liver may not be able to process doses as for adults. Hence consult your paediatrician and try to get a dose in between age qualified dose and adult dose.
You have to give her medicine as per her weight. The symptoms may not be due to Dolo toxicity.
