Hi. Greetings. Hair fall and thinning in women could occur due to variety of reasons including 1. Genetic and hereditary factors 2. Iron and other nutritional deficiencies 3. Hormonal variations or imbalances 4. Sudden Weight loss or any infections or any major physical or mental stress the body has been through. So this may need due examination,  evaluation and detailed history of course.  Obviously improving your diet will go a long way in improving your hair so have a good balanced diet.  Please see a qualified dermatologist near you or you could consult online. Warm regards Dr. Govind S Mittal,  Therapeia Skin Hair and ENT centre,  Bengaluru
