Hair pulled from scalp
In a recent accident, my wife's hair got tangled in a rotating device and some hair was pulled.
That has left a small patch of bald scalp (3 cm diameter) and there are red dots at hair follicle region. We want to know if permanent hair follicle damage might have happened and whether hair will regrow in that area? Is there hope for hair regrowth in that area?

Hi Thanks for your query. The hair usually grows back in a couple of months if it was just a traction alopecia.
