Hello there,,,,well you certainly did the right thing of going to an orthopadecian after u r minor accident...and yes for a hairline and stable fracture...a hard bandage would be the ideal line of treatment along with calcium supplementation and prescription pain killers.
Next Steps
ideally after 15 days, xrays of your wrist would again be taken and the status of fracture healing would be re-evaluated
Health Tips
if you feel mild discomfort, pain and little swelling its normal and no need to worry...however if it continues for more days u might again go and visit him. D.M in pune is a good hospital i have seen cases from there dont worry. do resort back with any furthur queries Regards & take care.

Yes given the history and injury, you are on appropriate treatment. Repeat X-ray advised in 10-12 days post injury. If fracture remains undisplaced, then cast for a total of 5 weeks from injury. Then wrist mobilisation with physiotherapy.
Next Steps
Above.
