50-100 strands a day is normal and hairfall can be due to many reasons like nutrient deficiency, hormonal imbalance, stress and pollution. Foods like almonds, green leafy veggie, sweet potato, curry leaves, flaxseed, tomatoes help. Do almond or coconut oil massage atleast twice a week for the hair and wash with room temperature water.

Have foods rich in Zinc selenium omega 3. B- complex vitamins especially Biotin. Sometimes anemia can cause hair fall too. So iron rich foods like green leafy vegetables,  whole cereals etc should be consumed.  You can use supplements too with your Doctor's advise.
Health Tips
Apply onion juice once a week, leave on for 1/2 hour and shampoo. Use only sulphate and paraben free shampoos.
