Sudden onset of vertigo with associated tinnitus usually occurs in cases of sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Usually vertigo subsides within few days with treatment but tinnitus which is secondary to hearing loss remains. You need to get a pure tone audiogram to identify if there is hearing loss. If confirmed treatment can be planned
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
