H jaundice and
Hello sir my daughter is 19 years old and she is suffering from jaundice her total bilirubin is 2.7, bilirubin direct is 1.9 and bilirubin indirect is 0.8 her SGPT is 4540.0 and SGOT is 4825.0 . She is not having motions from three days and having abdominal pain and chest pain.

These figures indicate moderate degree of hepatitis. The basic treatment remains rest and a high carbohydrate diet. Motions will follow a good diet with plenty of fiber in food. Abdominal and chest pain is probably due to liver enlargement. If intake is very low,OR child is very dull,hospitalize her. If not,do as advised above,she'll recover in 7-10 days.
