Gunstock Deformity (Cubitus Varus)
I’m 24. Had a left elbow fracture at age 12. Arm healed with inward bend (cubitus varus). It's functional but looks bent. My triceps muscle is weak as compare to right and misaligned. I also feel pressure in my elbow during gym (like triceps movements). I want to know: Can surgery fix the bone angle and muscle alignment? Is 3D CT-planned osteotomy available in Delhi NCR? What’s the success rate? Any long-term issues?

Surgery can fix cubitus varus. Muscle strength and elbow range of motion needs to be worked on after your osteotomy has united. There are many types of osteotomies Lateral closing wedge Dome etc... Choice depends on surgeon and deformity. Surgery has good succes rates but known complications are stiffness, residual deformity, Ulnar nerve injury..
