Sir,i went to dentist, he prescribed me tacrolimus .0.3% for desquamative gingivitis for applying on gums, is it safe to apply it. My gums are swallow and red. Kindly advise.

Not sure how bad it is unless i do a thorough examination but usually deep scaling we advise first and then do frequent follow ups to monitor gums health. Hi It is safe to use but if the gums are too much swollen and there is bleeding while brushing you may need further treatment. It will not beit is safe. much helpful but as your answer is for safety it is safe.

It is safe to use  in desquamative gingivitis. Cause of desquamative gingivitis has to be ruled out.
