Undergo oral prophylaxis (scaling) that will help to remove the calculus ( solidified material acc to the pt) . A medicated mouth wash should be used .

U require cleaning of teeth .The type of cleaning treatment will depend on ur teeth and gum condition.
Treatment offered may be
1 Scaling and Polishing (for less deposites )
2 Curretage and Root planning (for severe cases)
Followed by maintenance therapy till the symptoms subside .
