Dear Sir, My father, age-70, weight-83is under medicine of Hepatitis b( Hepbest), high bp( AmlongA- Atenol 50 and Amlodipine-5) and Thyroid ( Eltroxin 75). In latest lab report, the sugar fasting comes- 117, Total Cholestrol-174, LDL-108, HDL-33, Triglycerides-164. Kindly advise how to control diabetes and chloestrol issue. Any specific diet or have to start medicince. Or wait

Pre-diabetic diet  : Less intake of carbohydrates. Brown rice, jowar roti , chapathi , sprouts , ragi malt,jowar milt, millets would be helpful. Avoid carbonated drinks, sugary foods,deep fried foods . Brisk walking
