Sir ,i have small gray patches on the cheek inside the mouth and from 14 days i have quit gutkha as the doctor said that it is precancerous lesion so i want to know how long does it take take to heal gray patches or it will remain like this untill it converts into cancer, or does it also happen that it will remain intact for the whole life without converting it into cancer. i am only tensed because it is said that within 2 weeks after the cessation of the tobacco, it generally heals but not mine

Hello there. I can understand your concern. .you might want to check with the person who said it heals within 2 weeks of quitting. I don't have any such information.
