Hi Doctor, I am 32 Yr male. I had a gout attack few weeks back and recovered now. Taking Zyloric 100 mg 3 times a day as per doctor prescription. I had a serum uric acid level of 10.8. Please suggest me a proper gout diet plan.

For gout/hyperuricemia:
With serum uric acid of 10.8, I would prefer giving you a uricostatic (febuxostat) instead of zyloric( uricostatic). Also you may take colchicine if you experience fare up of pain and swelling.
Tab Febuxostat 80mg at night and 40mg post breakfast for 1month.
Avoid brinjal, soyabeen, yellow Dal, mutton, tomato, green saag, beer.
Apply ice packs over affected painful area.
