Got menstruation early
She got last menstruation on 19 th last month n she had unprotected sex with her husband and had pregnancy prevention pill within 24 hours. Since its her 16 th day from last menstruation starting date, she had got her periods but the blood flow is light as compared to regular first day of menstruation. Is she pregnant?

Thank you for your question. Progestogen only emergency contraception is associated with unscheduled bleeding which is not a sign of pregnancy. The best thing to do is to get a urine pregnancy test done. If you are unsure please see your gynaecologist who can help you.
