Got hurt on her left hand
Hello Doctor. My mother has already got hurt on her left hand thumb earlier 2-3 years ago. And yesterday again she got hurt on that same hand(arm) and there was some swelling on her hand. We don't know if it's fractured. What's the general diagnosis for these kinds of injuries?

Go for a x-ray to confirm. Whereas at the same time go for ice pack to reduce swelling. And check for the changes in symptoms.

hello.......any fracture of two to three years would have healed by now... So that fractures won't cause any problem.. Fracture only heals completely if all factors of healing are there.. Only x ray confirm the diagnosis and get her x ray done when swelling subsides... Consult orthopedic surgeon.
