Can glucoma can be controlled? Please tell me my mother regularly put drops and AIIMS doctor asked her to put it and they are saying no to the surgery

Yes, it can be controlled. Whatever damage has occurred can't be reversed. Be in regular follow up. If it is not advanced glaucoma, she can maintain good vision. It depends on type of glaucoma and prognosis whether surgery is required or not. So leave that decision to treating Dr.

Firstly glaucoma can be controlled with eye drop medications only if no response to eye drops then surgical intervention can be considered
