For a 15-day-old neonate, it is advisable to avoid Ghamoli powders or any fragranced powders due to the risk of skin irritation, blocked sweat glands, and respiratory issues.
Next Steps
Stick to gentle cleansing with lukewarm water and use dermatologist-recommended emollients like baby moisturizers (e.g., containing ceramides or colloidal oatmeal) if dryness occurs. No powders are necessary at this age.
Health Tips
Excessive powdering can lead to miliaria (prickly heat) or atopic dermatitis flare. Always prioritize minimal and gentle skin care in newborns.
