Getting dark on back of my hand
My hand i.e. on back of my palm got black colour and dryness. Since last 4 days. applying olive oil. l have used sanitizer and dettol hand wash for more times will that effect my skin?? Is this is because of that? I am attaching photos of my hand.

Hi. This is called as hand eczema. This can happen because of frequent use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers and excessive hand wash. It can also happen if you have not washed the soap off correctly with some soap residue left behind.
Next Steps
Keep a moisturiser next to the basin. Apply moisturiser after every hand wash or whenever it feels very dry. You can also use hand wash made for sensitive skin. Visit a dermatologist if the symptoms increase.

Dear Maam, I read your history and saw your pictures. It could be due to excessive dryness worsened by regular use of dettol and sanitisers that contain alcohol.

1. Apply a good thick moisturising cream as soon as you wash your hands
