Hello, I had been diagnosed with GAD and and have gone through a few depressive episodes. I used to do really well in school and my performance dropped dead by the time I reached college. I would experience frequent burnout and it made me miserable. My peers would tease me saying I was an autistic kid. My then therapist said it could be possible that would have either ADHD or ASD.
Would it help me come in terms with myself of I'd go for an official diagnosis?

Whatever the diagnosis is the diagnosis does not help you in relieving the symptoms so you have to understand that do not run after diagnosis because it's just like a stamp over people..
Take help from a psychiatrist and psychologist and do whatever it takes to enjoy your life and becoming normal day by day
