Psychodiagnostic Testing: Psychodiagnostic testing is used to help diagnose and clarify concerns regarding behavior, personality traits, mood, emotional functioning, and cognitive processes. Psychodiagnostic assessment may be helpful: 1.When a client is not responding to psychopharmaco therapy / psychopharmaceutical treatment and a clarification of diagnosis is needed. 2.When there is a history of trauma (especially long-term exposure) and there are concerns that current symptoms may be partially attributed to these experiences. 3.When substance abuse is suspected as a primary contributor to other psychological disorders, or when it has developed as a secondary problem due to an individual's inability to utilize healthier and more adaptive coping mechanisms. 4.When there are problems in interpersonal relationships, especially when these issues are significantly impacting an individual's functioning. 5.When you are confused regarding the source of a yours behavioural or emotional problems. 6.When there is a history or current problem with self-harm or suicidal ideation
Next Steps
Visit to Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) certified Clinical Psychologist and do the psychodiagnostic testing. Do not forget to take a report. Treatment options are available: 1. Psychopharmaco therapy / Psychopharmaceutical treatment as per Psychiatrist. 2. Psychotherapy as per RCI certified Clinical Psychologist.

Anger is a normal emotional expression and is a required reaction in certain situations. The inappropriate frequency and intensity of anger is what should be of concern. If you feel that your getting angry over petty issues and also the anger responses are out of proportion to the situation, then definitely you need to be working on anger management. There may be various factors which may be causing the frequent anger response - eg: lack of sleep, long working hours, interpersonal issues, financial issues and the pattern of your emotional responses to these crisis. A counselling psychologist can help you analyse the underlying triggers and find out healthy coping up responses.
Next Steps
It is recommended to approach a counselling psychologist for 3-6 months of counselling. In case of increase in symptoms or no change after 6 months, you may contact a Psychiatrist (Allopathic / Homoeopathic) for temporary medication and further management.
