Asked for Female, 31 Years

I am 34 week pregnant, I have High blood sugar level.. till 7th month the sugar level was under control, from past 2 weeks the there is increase in blood sugar level.. Before was taking 16units morning and night.. Right now I am taking 20 units insulin morning and night , afternoon 10units

Sugar levels usually increase during this period due to the effect of placental hormones. But u need to control the sugars very tightly by adjusting insulin doses. We may need to shift you on basal bolus regimen. Kindly initiate consultation with a diabetologist along with your sugar chart and details of insulin regimen.
