Hi GERD and asthma are two different entities. But the common symptom of chronic cough could be due to either GERD or asthma. Or a patient of asthma- untreated GERD could lead to non resolving symptoms of cough. Diagnosis of bronchial asthma can be confirmed by Spirometry with reversibility (pulmonary function test) For further information please contact.
