GERD AND PAIN
I was told by the doctor that I have gerd but now there is no reflux but the symptoms are there like I have pain in throat and sometimes ears and lump kind of feeling in throat and rarely chest burn. Any idea how much it will take for symptoms to go away and what I need to do? And GERD curés permanently? Whatever I had to quit , can I start eating that after the symptoms go?

GERD can be treated and controlled if the duration of your illness is short you go with dietary restrictions and avoidance.if it helps you in a week or so you can continue with it for three months  after that you can use these occasionally also try to reduce your stress level if your illness duration is long you can go for medicines to relieve your symptoms but with medicines also restrictions in diet and less stress you have to follow.
Next Steps
give a detailed history and take an online consultation.
