Hello. It is a common concern; glad you're asking about it. Genital herpes itself doesn't cause HIV. These are two distinct viral infections caused different viruses. However, when you have a herpes outbreak, the sore/ulcers are more likely to transmit the HIV, if either of the partner is infected with HIV regardless of herpes infection or other infections. It is advised to abstain from all sexual activities until the sores are completely healed, or you can use protections to reduce of risk of transmission. Homoeopathy can cure herpes infection. With proper case study and constitutional homoeopathic treatment, it is possible to give you permanent and complete cure without the recurrence of the symptoms. To know more & for any other concerns you can call us or reach us online.

Herpes itself does not cause HIV. However, during an outbreak the ulcers make it easier for HIV to enter the body, so the risk of HIV transmission is higher if one partner is HIV positive. It’s best to avoid sex during outbreaks and always use protection. You may consult a qualified homeopathic physician for safe management and to strengthen immunity.

Herpes and HIV are two different infections. Herpes outbreak (HSV) itself does not cause HIV. HIV is a completely different virus. However, if a person already has HIV, herpes outbreaks can be more frequent and severe because of low immunity. If a person does not have HIV, having sex during a herpes outbreak does not “create” HIV. Herpes ulcers/sores can make it easier for HIV to enter the body if one partner is already HIV-positive. This is because open sores increase the risk of transmission. If both partners are HIV-negative, herpes will not cause HIV. Avoid sexual contact during active herpes outbreaks (to prevent spreading herpes itself). Always use protection (condoms). If there is doubt, get tested for HIV and HSV to be clear.
