Take for the prescribed duration and consult your treating psychiatrist again, depending in the improvement he will adjust the dose and give. This is not an antibiotic to have set duration of treatment. The duration depends on biological, psychological and sociological factors and it may be as short as 1 month to as long as life time. You need regular follow up with psychiatrist, as all these will not be continued for long term but 1 or 2 medicines you might need to take for 6-8 months
